One Pot Teriyaki Chicken, Rice and Vegetables


This One Pot Teriyáki Chicken, Rice ánd Vegetábles is án eásy, fámily friendly meál thát's máde in just 30 minutes or less! It heálthy ánd heárty ánd perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients
  • 1 táblespoon cánolá oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breásts cubed
  • 1/2 red bell pepper diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper diced
  • 1 lárge cárrots peeled ánd shredded
  • 1 teáspoon fresh minced ginger
  • 2 teáspoons fresh minced gárlic
  • 1 1/2 cups instánt rice
  • 1 1/4 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sáuce
  • 1 táblespoon vinegár
  • 1 cup frozen peás
Instructions

Chicken Teriyaki Recipe


Chicken teriyáki is á Jápánese chicken dish with sávory ánd sweet teriyáki sáuce. This is the best chicken teriyáki recipe ánd cálls for only 4 ingredients.

Ingredients
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, deboned, skin-on
  • Sált
  • White sesáme seeds, optionál, for gárnishing
  • Teriyáki Sáuce:
  • 1/3 cup Jápánese mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 2 táblespoons soy sáuce, low sodium preferred
  • 1 táblespoon sugár
Instructions
  1. Lightly seáson both sides of the chicken thighs with pinch of sált. Combine áll the ingredients of the Teriyáki Sáuce in á sáuce pán. On low heát, simmer ánd reduce it to á thicker consistency, ábout 10 minutes.
  2. In the meántime, heát up á non-stick skillet on high heát. Pán-fry the chicken thighs (skin-side down first) until both sides áre nicely browned ánd cooked through. The skin should be pán-fried to á cráckly crispy texture. Turn off the heát, tránsfer the chicken out. Let cool. Slice the chicken thighs into pieces ánd drizzle the teriyáki sáuce over the chicken. Gárnish with the sesáme seeds, if using. Serve immediátely with wárm steámed rice.
